new mexico....

wow that was a quick trip.. several days, but they flew by! lots of food, (ugh), time with mr.'s family and lots of native american culture! here are some of the highlights from the scenery shots i took at sky city in acoma new mexico...
 
this is sky city from the ground...it is a city built on the top of a mesa.. no running water or electricity. there are 10-15 families that live there year round... it definitely has it's own beauty...

one of my favorite things was the colored doors and windows on the adobe homes...         i love taking pictures of doors and windows anyway, but these were really cool!! 

'tis good to be home ... there is nothing like sleeping in your own bed! very memorable trip though! ;) i'm off to bed... goodnight

    oh so cool! What a beautiful little place, wait, did his family actually live there? or did you just visit there? Man, sounds like fun!

    I love those doors and windows too. SO pretty.

    So, why were you there again? Does his family live there? How did the trip go for you and Mr? Did you kiss?
