an update... photo style

anyone that knows me...also knows of my once obsession of all things black and white. i am now beginning to see, and l.o.v.e {my world} in color. sort of. {white is a color right? } this realization was exciting! it meant it was time to re-decorate. :) {some might say that is also an obsession... *shrug* i am not ashamed!} i am really loving the up-cycled/shabby chic style these days. but, this new love of color  poses a little bit of a problem seeing as about 90% of my furniture is black! {oops} so, this make over is going to take some time... but i have found some fun pieces so far. {i love to refinish furniture, but when it's looking like a full home redecorate...the secret to keeping it fun, is finding a professional!} i get the fun job of stalking looking at ksl every day and going to garage sales at the crack of dawn on the weekends {now that school is over woohooo} to find the great furniture to pass on over the Meggie at Shabby 2 Chic Designs so she can do the tough stuff! these are a couple of "new" additions to mi casa...

 
 

when i find my new place, i will decorate for reals! in the meantime... this will do :)  {blogger is being ridiculous at the moment and giving me issues uploading photos... so stay tuned for more up-cycling of my abode!}
