time..blessings..early spring cleaning

the last year has been a trying one (bleh) and until recently i have struggled with seeing the blessings i have received, and the wonderful lessons i have been learning ie. how to live on a tight budget, allowing others to help my independent self, that the Lord knows what i need and gives it to me despite my wants and that He is well aware of my situation. i'm guessing i have learned these things to prepare me for trials to come. as with all challenges, they make us stronger and prepare us for what is ahead. all part of the brilliant plan of happiness! though it should come as no surprise, the last couple of weeks i have been learning about gratitude in my personal scripture study and it has even been the topic of discussion in the book i'm reading as well. i have much to be thankful for, and though not surprising, once i figured all of this out i was blessed. yes, jeana has a j o b :) that in itself is cause for outward celebration, but even more important to me is the inward celebration and gratitude i have for lessons learned and answered prayers.

with all of that said, over the last year i have adopted things into my life to keep me busy and to try to avoid insanity (not sure that one worked so well.. lol) things like 3 blogs, etsy shop, facebook, sewing, sewing, sewing and crafting like it was going out of style, but now it is time to spring clean my life and get rid of the clutter so i can focus on school and my new work adventure. this may just be temporary, but for now that means I am going to sew and craft when time allows so I probably won't be having gobs of fun stuff to post on my gussy by design blog, nor my etsy shop. :( So, I will just be updating this blog and my portfolio until i get used to my new routine. as for facebook, wow it's addicting, and i just need to spend time doing homework and other more productive things so thats gone for now too. ahhhh, i feel better already :)
