hi!

remember me? ;) it has certainly been a while since I have posted. i have just been busy doing other things... sorry to neglect the blog... but i'm back.. for the moment anyway.. and I even took on the challenge of creating my own blog background to celebrate my momentary return :) YAY for the small things in life.

so, what has happened since i was gone? crafting, cleaning, spending much time with family and friends. redefining relationships for the better, creating new ones and being thankful for many many many things!

i'm glad for the holiday we celebrate this month!... i have my own tradition... with just me, myself and i.. and i love it! it started on my mission with a great great companion. we were comps through the holidays (which was SUCH a blessing) and we had a little tree.. all decorated in our apartment. every night we would turn off all of the lights except for those on the tree and we would sing Christmas Hymns... i have done it ever since.. and will continue to do it. it brings an amazing spirit to my home, and helps me to remember the amazing reason for the holiday we call Christmas... speaking of holiday traditions... growing up, we always did the same thing Christmas eve, grandparents on dad's side, weavers and then tacos with Denise (the great lady my sister was named after). well, things have changed a lot, families have grown and some have gotten smaller... and our little family now sticks close to home for the holiday. HOWEVER... tomorrow Denise (the sister) and I are going to Denise's house so she can teach us how to make her WONDERFUL tacos. Hurray for good food.. and a picture taking moment! stay tuned...
