life happens...

personally, at work and to lives of people that i care about. all of which has seemed more important than the old blogola lately. there are a few things i am absolutely sure about in the midst of all that has been going on...

i am surrounded daily with some pretty amazing, faithful, and strong people

the Lord hears me, and though my life is nothing like *i* ever planned, it's in good hands

mothers sacrifice so much. that title isn't just given, it is earned and should be held in high regard

on a different note, most people who know me know that i am not much of a reader. for lots of different reasons i won't bore you with. i do however enjoy listening to audio books while i am doing other things. (seems like a more productive way to "read") most recently i finished a book called "the help". it is a good one that i highly recommend. they made it into a movie. normally that is bad news, always disappointing etc. but, this one was just as good as the book! for. reals. emotions have been close to the surface anyway lately but the movie made me laugh and cry.  i don't think i will forget the stories, or the way i felt when "reading" the book anytime soon... my favorite quote from the movie...
