sunday's thoughts

i watched a movie last night. it's one i hadn't ever heard of before called "listen to your heart". it was a little bit on the predictable side, but in the movie a young waiter meets a girl in the restaurant where he is working and feels like it is love at first site. then, after finding out that she is deaf, his friend tries to convince him that he shouldn't date her because there are going to be so many challenges. danny's response to his friend was "i am not going to miss out on something great just because it is going to be hard." nothing extremely profound, but it is a phrase i won't soon forget. so many times i pass up opportunities in life simply because they are going to be hard. something at work just this last week in fact. lucky for me, i work with amazing people... who care about me and wouldn't let me pass up the opportunity. {thank you!}  life has a lot to offer each of us. don't let it pass you by just because it is hard.  :)
