Christmas has come and gone and it was so much fun! Troy and his family were here for the week so there were games and lots of playing with my cute little munchkins! We went to The Forgotten Carols which I just love... talented people who really bring the spirit. Mom and I took the little ones to see the Temple lights and drove through a neighborhood to see lights too. Funniest moment as we turned the corner in the neighborhood, little C-bear (she is 2) saw the lights and said "what the heck?!"... she is quite the little chatter box!:) Then, for Christmas from Mas I got a note that said "Jeenu Meree Crismis th anc you for leteenus go to the parek and leteenus do fun stuf" Pretty darn good for a little guy! the time spent with them was so good for me and timely too! why?... because "santa" must read my blog! i got exactly what I wanted for Christmas. A J O B!! :) I will be moving back up to Utah next week and starting my job the week after that. It is a very exciting opportunity and it seems to just be falling into place. I have MUCH to be thankful for, I really do! I will miss my friends and family here more than I even want to think about right now, but good things are ahead!
In the whirlwind that has been my head lately, one thing has been made very clear... Heavenly Father hears me...and it isn't on our time that prayers are answered. I read an article today in the Ensign where life was compared to climbing a mountain, the top of the mountain being our ultimate goal. Some want to find the easiest/quickest way to the top, but as the guide in the story tells, those people miss the amazing sites that are to be seen at the bottom of the mountain and all along the trail to the top. Those beautiful spots aren't easy to get to, but worth the challenge. The last couple of years have been challenging to say the least, but I have been blessed to see some of the good that has come from it. I have much to be thankful for... especially a forgiving Father... who gives me another opportunity to show gratitude even in my rough times. I am thankful. :)
Exciting! But you left out important details such as where in UT and what you will be doing! Congrats!
